Privacy policy · Updated September 13, 2026
We use your information to respond to your project inquiry.
This policy explains what denahouse.com collects, why we use it and the choices available to you.
Dena House does not sell personal information or add form submissions to a marketing mailing list.
Information you provide
When you submit the consultation form, we collect the name, phone number, email address, optional project location, project type and project details you provide. If you contact us by phone or email, we receive the information included in that communication.
Property-analysis searches
Property searches are matched in your browser against our public-record index. When you begin a search on the home page, the address is held briefly in your browser’s session storage so it can be transferred to the analysis page, then removed after it is read. Each address you search is also sent to Dena House, together with whether it matched a property record, the time of the search, your IP address and your browser type. We use it to see which properties visitors are researching and to protect the service from abuse. Each property’s analysis also has its own web address, which contains the property’s street address so a result can be bookmarked and shared; opening such a link, including one someone shared with you, is not reported to Dena House as a search. We do not send the exact address to Google Analytics. If you request a consultation, the matched property address becomes part of the inquiry sent to Dena House so we can respond about that property.
How we use information
We use inquiry information to review the potential project, contact you, answer questions, schedule conversations and maintain business records related to the inquiry. We may use technical request information to protect the form from spam, abuse and excessive submissions.
How the form is delivered
Form submissions and property searches are processed through service providers that support website hosting, security and email delivery. Those providers process information on our behalf as needed to deliver the inquiry. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction.
Analytics and cookies
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic and how visitors use the site. We remove property addresses from the page URLs, referring URLs and page titles sent to analytics and record property-analysis events without the searched address, name, email address, phone number or message. Google Analytics can use cookies or similar technologies and may receive the remaining page path, IP address, device and browser information, approximate location and interaction information. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can limit cookies through your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Retention and security
We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, evaluate a potential project, maintain business records and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website, email system or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may choose not to submit the form and contact us by phone instead. To ask about, correct or request deletion of information you submitted, email info@denahouse.com. We may need to retain limited information where required for legal, security or recordkeeping purposes.
Policy updates and contact
We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The updated date above identifies the current version. Questions may be sent to info@denahouse.com, or mailed to Dena House, 6605 Lybrook Ct, Bethesda, MD 20817.
